Having gained independence in 1962 after the British handed over power to Sir Apollo Milton Obote, Uganda had its capital city changed from Entebbe to Kampala. Once known as the city of seven hills, Kampala now spans over 20 hills. Kampala is the capital city and largest city in Uganda. It has an abundance of vegetation scattered in its parks, gardens, and recreational areas. Kampala city has thus grown over the years into a center for business excellence with modern infrastructural setups, hotels, administrative blocks, modern places of worship, and Centers of academic excellence being set up.

buildings, transportation modes, general infrastructural layouts, meals, hotels, and academic
centers, as well as the religious, political and economic history of the pearl of Africa.

Itinerary
This tour starts with an early morning rise, where you will be picked up from your hotel by your
experienced tour guide. For a start, you will visit popular tour sites within Kampala, such as
Namugongo Shrine, Namirembe Cathedral, Rubaga Cathedral, Gadafi’s Mosque, Kabaka’s
Palace, and the Parliament of Uganda, before a lunch break at one of Uganda’s best restaurants
(Lunch included on package).
After a pleasant and sumptuous lunch, you will continue your tour by visiting more sites such as
the Kasubi Tombs, the Uganda Museum, the Independence Monument, Ndere Centre, and the
Batwa Cultural Heritage Centre. Along the way, you will also visit the local markets. At the end
of it all, your tour guide will return you to your hotel.
