Lake Mburo National Park Safari

With an early rise and breakfast, we will hit the road on an adventurous road trip towards western Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, we will have our first stop-over at the Uganda Equator and the crafts village at Mpambire, where there are various crafts for souvenirs. Watch out for the famous indigenous long-horned Ankole cattle and the beautiful western green plains along the way on our western road trip.

Driving time: ± 4.5 hours
On arrival in the afternoon, you will check in at your lodge and probably relax for the rest of the afternoon

In Lake Mburo, we will have a morning game drive. The park has a unique characteristic of acacia woodland, and it is the only national park in Uganda where you can see the beautiful gigantic eland. While on the game drive, expect to see lots of Impalas, Zebras, some Giraffes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Buffalos, and many more.

After the morning game drive, we return to the camp/lodge for lunch and go on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to enjoy sightseeing of the rich bird life, crocodiles, and hippos cooling off in the afternoon. After which, we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we drive at leisure back to Kampala. We could stop at the Equator again or return, arriving in Kampala in the afternoon
